Description
Following the devastating 1972 earthquake in Managua, Nicaragua, patron Catalina “Kitty” Meyer organized a relief fund alongside artists to help the rebuild efforts.
Calder contributed 14 designs, which local Central American artisans translated into hand-woven maguey fiber tapestries.
