Houndstooth print a timeless classic, also known as dogstooth, hens' feet and thousand-bird print. Characterized by broken checks, traditionally in black and white, typically in a contrasting dark and light pattern. The oldest known houndstooth textiles (15-1200 BC) were found in Austria.
